SENATOR CINDY HOLSCHER STATEMENT ON MASTERSON SECURING SENATE VOTES FOR MAP RIGGING
OVERLAND PARK, KS – Senator Cindy Holscher, candidate for Kansas Governor, released the following statement in response to Senate President Ty Masterson’s announcement that he’s secured enough Senators to go along with his extreme redistricting plot:
“In advancing this map-rigging scheme, Ty Masterson has proven once again that he’s an ideological extremist and unfit to be Governor. Every politician who is just sitting back and going along with this scheme is unfit to lead. Kansans want leaders who will stand up for our state and our families, not take their marching orders from ideologues in Washington.
“Although Masterson may have enough cronies in the Senate for a special session, which will cost taxpayers at least $400,000, the House has not yet gathered enough signatures. Kansans should continue calling their Representatives in opposition to this boondoggle.”
