Statement from Cindy Holscher on Gov. Laura Kelly’s Endorsement of Her Campaign for Governor
TOPEKA, KS — State Senator Cindy Holscher released the following statement Wednesday after being endorsed by Kansas Gov. Laura Kelly in her campaign for Governor:
“For decades, Laura Kelly has tirelessly served the people of our state, and I’m grateful and honored that she has endorsed our campaign. As Governor she has moved our state forward while blocking a host of disastrous policies put forward by extremist Ty Masterson. Governor Kelly has served as a model of what a dedicated public servant can achieve.”
“I know Governor Kelly understands the urgency of mobilizing voters from across our state to make sure Donald Trump’s choice Ty Masterson loses this election. I have the deepest respect for her, and I will work side by side with her starting today to make sure Masterson does not drag Kansas back to the dark Brownback days — or worse. We must unite Kansans of all parties to defeat him — and we will.”

Cindy Holscher was raised on a farm and brought up with common sense, Midwest values, and a love of her country. Cindy and her husband Greg have lived in Kansas for over 25 years, and their three kids graduated from public schools. She first ran for office to help end the disastrous Brownback experiment and to restore funding to the schools. As a legislator, Cindy co-founded the Women’s Bipartisan Caucus, and she focused on lowering costs for working class and middle class Kansans.
